I knew Finder 40 series relay could carry 10A and I can switch max 250Vac. Uhhh…wroong!
Do not make the same mistake I made with relays…
When I populated the product database for Electrosource I discovered the max voltage is actually 400V.
250V is the voltage arrived/tested at to qualify the Ith rating of 10A (for the single changeover versions e.g. 40.31 & 40.51) and 8A (for the double contact e.g. 40.52)
So do not make my mistake – you can switch up to 400Vac with a Finder 40 series relay.
Most unfortunate they do not commit to a current at 400Vac but one can quickly work it out based on the contact VA.
