Fuses:- I never considered this – Using fuses in parallel, Really?
Mmmm…So we got this feedback from a fuse supplier suggesting we use 2x400A fuses in parallel to make up 800Amp.
Why is there something that bugs me about this?
And since we are at this…What about using contactors in parallel to qualify for a higher current load?
Maybe it just sound wrong theoretically but in practice it actually works.
And don’t even begin to say why not use the right thing for the right thing…oookay!
If you fall in the above mentioned category then do not participate in this discussion because you are only going to frustrate yourself…
If you do..it is at your own risk!
Oh by the way …when they do blow it takes out both fuses.
