Don't redesign any thing - NEMA is a mature set of standards...they even go as far as stipulating the terminal/ wire numbers . Nema standards ICS2...

Even how to do maintenance

***We are going to start that here.

see Nema standards ICS2..

SOFTWARE TinyCad does it all but I have to use DesignSpark

What I did not expect to find is free software that gives me a component list - really? TinyCad does it all.

Add your own components - according to this video

but start with the connection points then do the rest otherwise it will not make proper connection with existing components.

When placing these terminals make sure to notice on what side that feint squre sits becasue that is the wire connection side.
