Personal note: In scrounging for reference material I
came across this book:
An Elementary Study of
Chemistry
by William Edwards Henderson and William McPherson first published
1905
Reading this opens the mind for what kind of mind the reader has.
Academic- carry on reading...if not...stop now.
Not sure which career to follow: Technical carry on reading , if not
go the arts way.
Not sure what technical arena tickles your fancy?
If you complete the reading of the book...you are a chemist /
physicist guaranteed. This book will make it clear which one you are.
If you skip over areas but carries on reading you are a general
scientist.
but - whilst reading your level of intrigue increases you are and
academic scientist if not you are an engineering student of life. This
includes everyone right down to artisanship - but an artisan of a higher
standing.
A pure artisan will not even finish the introduction.
Done.
